Loooooky what I found: violet jelly and dandelion jelly!

Major props to Prairieland Herbs outside Woodward, Iowa. Give thanks for these lovely inventions and fabulous recipes!

Many wild plants get snarled at or ignored, stomped on, weeded incessantly, even sprayed with poison. But they are still with the land and with us, encouraging us to discover, use, and find ways to enjoy them.

To the celebration of wild and cultivated, raw and cooked things, and to things curiously both!
